Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the ward and within the hospital. Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate. Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff. Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse Midwife, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills. To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
