Our midwives provide all aspects of pregnancy, birth and postnatal care in our antenatal clinics and services, on our maternity wards, birth suites and in our special care nurseries. Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the ward and within the hospital. Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate. Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff. Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse Midwife, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills. To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
