A role with real ownership across the full employee lifecycle — not a narrow slice Close partnership with the People & Culture Manager and senior leaders Exposure to a global business across Australia, NZ, UK, US and Asia The chance to shape and improve people processes as the business scales Involvement in meaningful initiatives across performance, engagement, systems and capability A values-led, high-trust culture where outcomes matter more than hierarchy Ongoing development, learning opportunities and room to grow with the business A supportive leader who backs you, challenges you and wants to see you progress A vibrant Camberwell office, great people, and regular team and company events The role Be a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across performance, conduct, policies and employee relations Own the operational delivery of performance cycles, goal setting and development planning Partner with hiring managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment and seamless onboarding Draft and manage people communications including contracts, variations, policy updates and letters Maintain strong HR governance, records and systems (BambooHR experience highly regarded) Use people data and reporting to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities Contribute to engagement, recognition and culture initiatives that genuinely land Support change initiatives and continuous improvement projects as the business grows Who we’re looking for Years of experience matter less than how you operate . You’re someone who: Has 2 years’ experience in a Recruitment/People & Culture coordinator or similar generalist role Has supported the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and performance management Is confident working autonomously and following work through end-to-end Communicates clearly, professionally and with sound judgement Is organised, accountable and comfortable managing competing priorities Brings a practical, people-first mindset - you balance empathy with commercial reality Enjoys working in fast-moving, evolving environments Experience in a scale-up, tech or fast-growth business will be highly regarded.
