Leading Federal Government department is in need of a Senior Business Analyst to define the materials, processes and IT changes needed as a result to amendments to legislation in 2025. In this role you will: Contribute to the planning and delivery of accurate, comprehensive, timely and value-add business analysis, organizational change and research products to support the project. Develop and conduct analysis activities in a timely manner, while managing competing priorities. Lead or assist in the development of high-quality presentations. Assist in developing and managing key internal and external relationships, to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation. Develop and maintain a backlog of business requirements. Document business requirements clearly in the form of high-level detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. Support developers and testers Develop UAT test plans and scripts, conduct testing, and support business users during UAT. You will bring to the role: • Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. • Proficiency using tools such as Azure DevOps. • A detail-oriented approach to all tasks with an ability to collate a range of information and present in a logical manner. • High-quality document preparation skills, including development and review of executive briefing documents, project artefacts, plans, reports and others. While it will be great if you have • Experience working in major programs with legislated timelines. • Understanding of public sector ICT accountability and assurance frameworks. • Familiarity with security and operational readiness requirements in government environments.
