Oceania Elevators is a well-established company specialising in the installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, and moving walkways. We are currently seeking an experienced Electronic Instrument Trades Worker to join our team. About the role: This role involves the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electronic instrumentation and control systems used in lift and escalator operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, safety, and performance. Position requirements: Install, modify, and repair electronic instrumentation and control systems Inspect and test machinery, equipment, instruments, and control systems to identify and diagnose faults Perform adjustments, repairs, and replacement of damaged parts Reassemble equipment and conduct operational testing and calibration Apply electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge in daily operations Provide guidance on correct operating procedures to minimise system failures Interpret technical data and prepare clear written reports and documentation Monitor and support communication systems as required Skills and Qualifications: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3). Proven experience working with electronic control and instrumentation systems Good communication and organisational skills Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
