ConsultANZ is looking for an Estimator – Precontracts for road and pavement projects with a well-established civil construction company in Queensland. Our client is known for pavement and surfacing work. This is a permanent role, focusing on preparing cost estimates and tenders before construction begins. Main Responsibilities Prepare clear and accurate cost estimates. Review tender documents and check scope, risks, and opportunities. Work with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to collect pricing. Help with precontract negotiations and bid submissions. Make sure all work follows company and client standards. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar. Experience as an estimator in civil construction (roads or pavements preferred). Knowledge of asphalt, spray seal, and surfacing operations. Ability to read drawings and tender documents. Good communication and negotiation skills.
