This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas. ? ? Department? Working within our friendly and professional Reservations Department, this position reports directly to the Reservations Manager. ? ? The Role? Handle Guest Requests and Drive Sales. Maintain & Validate Reservation Data. Maintain System Balancing & Control Revenue Loss. Create new Sales Leads. To work as and where directed by the Reservations Manager. Attend and/or complete all required Trainings & Meetings as and when required. Seven-day availability and roster flexibility. To always communicate any problems or issues, regardless of the severity, to the Reservations Manager and maintain a high level of communication within the department regarding relevant inter-department associates and guests. Complete the daily checklist in an accurate & efficient manner and effectively communicate any incomplete or follow-up tasks to the next shift and/or the Reservations Manager. About You? A positive 'can-do' working style? A flexible approach with the ability to identify and successfully implement new initiatives and problem-solving solutions? A collaborative and open communication style? 12 months working in a similar role? Experience in a Hotel or Travel Agency is desirable? Have valid rights to work in Australia?? Our Benefits?
