The Simplot Company's ANZ manufacturing operations encompass 5 x facilities throughout regional Tasmania, Victoria and NSW, employing over 1400 local operations staff and spanning the frozen potato product, frozen vegetable, frozen seafood, shelf stable and snacking categories. Collectively, our ANZ manufacturing facilities annually process over 400,000 tonnes of freshly grown Australian produce into the products that Aussie families have loved & enjoyed for generations. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, this site-based opportunity will provide coordination / administrative expertise in support of the implementation and maintenance of a global operations training program, aligned with the Simplot Company's focus on training & development of our current and future manufacturing workforce. Working Mon-Fri (4:1 WFH arrangement can be negotiated) and based at our NW Tasmania manufacturing sites, the Training Operations Coordinator - ANZ forms an integral part of our employee training / improvement activities. What You Will Do Working collaboratively with the Training Operations Specialists and site-based Production & Maintenance Teams - responsibilities / duties will include; Update and maintain Learning Management System (LMS) employee training records Scheduling of training activities for trainers & participants, and associated coordination of training facility bookings Track training program attendance of participants and provide updates to stakeholders Monitoring and reporting of training KPIs for the ANZ region Monitor new hire on-the-job training progress and provide reporting with updates / trends Assist in coordinating Front-Line Leader and Future Leader programs and training sessions Procure & organise training materials / consumables Provide general administrative tasks to the Global Food Operations Training & Capability team as required About You Bringing a demonstrated background in operational training, safety, or site administration related roles - the successful candidate will possess the following attributes; A 100% commitment to safety, health and wellbeing in the workplace Learning Management System experience - mandatory, noting Simplot utilise SAP Success Factors High-degree of organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and multi-task A strong eye for attention to detail Intermediate to advanced user of MS Office suite of products Experience in working within an operational environment will be highly regarded A high level of both written & verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate with a wide demographic of stakeholders, from factory-based production employees to functional leadership & external vendors / providers Please click on the "Apply" button to submit your application, ensuring a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role AND an up-to-date resume are included (noting that you will be redirected to the Simplot Careers portal).
