Business Development Executive Team Lead We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive Team Lead to lead the daily operations of the BDE team. This is a newly created role as Angle Finance continues to grow! The BDE team serves as the operational engine of our originations. Team members provide critical deal administration and escalation support to the broader sales team, while also managing a small portfolio of broker relationships. This dual responsibility develops well-rounded professionals who understand both relationship management and operational excellence. The role is responsible for optimising the performance and efficiency of the BDE team through effective service, data insights, technology enablement and sales tools. You will support the career progression of the BDEs and set them up for success to move into a BDM role. You will ensure the achievement of sales targets and revenue quotas of the portfolio of brokers, and the delivery of a superior customer service to brokers. You will: Lead and coach a high performing BDE team. Support and develop teams' career progression to move into a BDM role in time. Build and foster an inclusive, customer centric culture in the team aligned to Angle’s way of working. Manage hiring of talent, performance and development through coaching and feedback. Ensure individual sales targets and revenue quotas are achieved. Handle and resolve escalated customer issues and complex inquiries. Train team on sales systems, tools, and software. Track and report on key performance metrics (KPIs). Act as a liaison between sales support and sales teams to ensure process changes, communication and high-priority deal are acted on. What you bring: Previous experience leading an operational and/or sales team within asset finance. Proven success in a sales role consistently achieving sales targets. A customer centric approach and strong leadership ability to lead a high performing team. Proven experience in establishing and continuously improving processes and way of working. Resilience and ability to work in a high energy, fast paced business where change is constant. Demonstrated experience of turning a strategic plan into actionable steps and driving outcomes. Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders.
