We are now seeking a Client Intake Officer to join our team. About the Role Aroha Care Group is looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Client Intake Officer to join our team for 6 months Contract - Full time. In this key role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and referrers, playing an important part in delivering a positive experience and ensuring a smooth and efficient intake process. Key Responsibilities Receive, process, and triage new client referrals Collect and accurately record clinical and demographic information, including diagnoses, risks, goals, and barriers Coordinate initial appointments and support effective caseload allocation for clinicians Prepare and manage intake documentation, including NDIS Service Agreements Maintain accurate records in CRM and scheduling systems Liaise with Clinical Managers to ensure appropriate referral allocation Match clients with therapists based on clinical needs, goals, and location Support the management of urgent or complex referrals Build and maintain strong relationships with referrers and external stakeholders Contribute to ongoing improvements in intake and scheduling processes About You You may come from a background in NDIS Support Coordination, allied health administration, medical reception, community services, or a similar field. You are highly organised, confident communicating with a wide range of people, and take pride in creating positive first impressions. You enjoy working as part of a team, can manage competing priorities, and value work that makes a genuine difference in people’s lives.
