Impact you will have in this role Joining a small, passionate team committed to meaningful impact, the Fundraising Coordinator is a newly created role that will play a pivotal part in delivering The Girls & Boys Brigade’s fundraising activities. With a strong focus on philanthropy donor support and event coordination, you’ll also provide essential administrative assistance, enabling the Fundraising Manager and Executive Officer to focus on deepening donor engagement and growing corporate partnerships. Central to the success of the fundraising function, this role ensures day-to-day operations run seamlessly, supporter relationships are nurtured and strengthened, and high-quality events are delivered in line with the organisation’s values and mission. This role will suit someone looking to build on their fundraising and relationship development skills and who is eager to be mentored and developed by supportive, experienced leaders in the sector. Key Responsibilities Provide operational support to the Fundraising Manager and Executive Officer to support with prioritising tasks, including but not limited to scheduling donor meetings, donor research, and preparing briefing notes for meetings Provide high-quality stewardship and support to individual donors, foundations and major gift supporters Manage donor communications, including thank-you letters, impact updates and event invitations Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure timely data entry Assist with planning and delivery of fundraising events, including logistics, supplier liaison and guest management Coordinate event collateral, invitations and post-event follow-up Support volunteer coordination for events as required Manage day-to-day administration for the fundraising team Prepare reports and track KPIs for fundraising activities Assist with budgeting and invoice processing in partnership with Finance Draft donor-focused content for emails, letters and event materials Support appeal campaigns and donor engagement initiatives Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager and Impact Coordinator on the Case for Support document Skills & Experience Previous experience in fundraising, donor relations or events, ideally within the not-for-profit sector Relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in fundraising, communications, marketing or a related field Proven experience in donor stewardship, relationship management and event coordination Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities collaboratively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Sound understanding of fundraising compliance and ethical standards Applications Please direct all enquiries to Kristina Baric at Impact Advising on kristina@impactadvising.com.au Impact Advising is committed to creating diverse and inclusive work environments that reflect the rich tapestry of our communities.
