We are representing our Client in the recruitment of an Assistant Director based in Sydney's inner-east. As the Assistant Director you will work closely with the Centre Director to support daily operations, mentor educators, and help lead quality outcomes for children and families. A welcoming, purpose built early learning centre that provides high quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Located in Sydney's Inner East Key Responsibilities: Support the Centre Director in all aspects of centre management Lead and mentor educators to deliver engaging, play-based learning Ensure compliance with the NQF, EYLF and centre policies Foster a strong, inclusive, and collaborative team culture Build trusted relationships with families, children, and staff Assist with rostering, enrolments, documentation, and audits Step into the Director’s role as required What You’ll Need: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) Previous experience in a leadership or senior educator role (preferred) Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and preschool best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Child Protection and Anaphylaxis training Why Join Our Client?
