We're looking for a Senior AI / GenAI Engineer with deep Google Cloud Vertex AI experience to step into a client-facing technical lead role on a high-profile enterprise engagement. This is a 5 months contract to start with. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solution shaping, GenAI architecture, and trusted-advisor work — without being locked into day-to-day offshore delivery. What You'll Do Act as the day-to-day technical face with enterprise stakeholders Translate business problems into AI & GenAI solution opportunities Provide early technical direction and architecture guidance Shape scalable, realistic solutions that flow cleanly into delivery Partner with Sales on upsell / cross-sell opportunities Collaborate closely with offshore engineering teams Must-Have Experience Google Vertex AI (advanced) - Model Garden, training, deployment, pipelines Generative AI on GCP - Gemini models, LLM integration, prompt engineering RAG architectures - Embeddings, chunking, vector search (Vertex AI Vector Search) Agentic AI- Tool/function calling, orchestration, guardrails MLOps / ML Engineering- Lifecycle management, monitoring, drift detection Strong client-facing / consulting experience Nice to Have Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments Strong stakeholder communication skills Exposure to enterprise architecture and cloud security What Success Looks Like Trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders Confident solution shaping that leads to scalable delivery Strong collaboration across onshore and offshore teams GenAI solutions delivering real, measurable business value Why this role?
