About the Role We are seeking a Systems Support and Operations Officer to provide end-to-end ICT support across the organisation. The role is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, testing, and supporting ICT systems and infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and compliance with organisational policies, privacy legislation, and NDIS data security requirements. The position supports core operational systems, including the organisation’s internal Client Management System ( maHIma ), and plays a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted service delivery across multiple sites. Key Duties and Responsibilities Install, configure, monitor, and maintain ICT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, networked environments, printers, and CCTV systems across organisational sites Manage user accounts, profiles, and system access for employees, contractors, trainees, placement students, and allied health staff Support and troubleshoot the internal Client Management System ( maHIma ), working closely with internal developers and vendors to identify, test, and resolve system issues Analyse system performance, logs, and incidents to diagnose root causes and implement corrective actions Conduct system testing, including functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for system updates, enhancements, and deployments Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation to validate system changes and operational stability Support system releases and configuration changes through pre-deployment and post-deployment testing and verification Maintain ICT documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures Implement and enforce ICT security controls, access permissions, and data protection measures in line with privacy legislation and NDIS requirements Manage data backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery testing to support business continuity Perform data organisation, validation, and system clean-up to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and operational efficiency Systems and Technologies Supported Desktop and laptop computing environments Networked servers, shared storage, and access management systems Internal Client Management System ( maHIma ) Network connectivity, printers, CCTV, and security infrastructure Backup, recovery, and system monitoring tools Compliance and Governance Ensure ICT operations comply with organisational ICT policies, privacy legislation, and NDIS data security standards Maintain strict confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive client and organisational information Support ICT audits, system reviews, and compliance assessments Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field Minimum one year of relevant experience in ICT support, systems operations, or ICT testing roles Demonstrated experience in system testing methodologies, defect identification, and release validation Experience supporting networked systems, enterprise applications, and user access environments Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex system issues Employer-Specific Requirements Ability to provide ICT support across multiple organisational sites within NSW Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments (healthcare, disability, or community services preferred) Strong documentation and reporting skills Commitment to system reliability, security, and compliance Benefits Competitive salary package $75000 - $85000 per annum Superannuation Secure, full-time permanent role Supportive and professional working environment Career development and progression opportunities Opportunity to work in a purpose-driven organisation supporting disability and healthcare services
