We are looking for an experienced Cook to join the growing kitchen team at Woolwich Pier Hotel in Sydney's Woolwich area. Established in 1885 The Woolwich Pier Hotel has been a longstanding cornerstone in the local community. The stunning harbourside location makes it a much-loved venue by Sydney-siders. After a recent revitalisation with a fresh and eclectic style, the Woolwich Pier hosts a comfortable intersection between relaxed yet sophisticated. About the Role As a Cook, you will support the kitchen team in preparing high-quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items in line with Hogs Breath Cafe standards Assist with food preparation, portioning and plating Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of all dishes Follow recipes, menus and instructions from senior chefs Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, work areas and equipment Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or wastage Assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly Follow all food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements Work efficiently during busy service periods Support team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations What We’re Looking For Experience working as a Cook in a busy restaurant or café Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, punctual and well-organised Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays What We Offer Great team culture and supportive work environment Opportunity to grow within a well-known hospitality brand Competitive pay based on experience Work in the beautiful Airlie Beach region If you are passionate about food and enjoy working in a dynamic kitchen environment, we’d love to hear from you.
