The OpportunityPeregian Springs Country Club is a large retirement living community, home to 230 independent living villas and assisted living apartments. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks. Earliest shift time commences at 7am, latest shifts finish at 8pm (approx.). Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g driving them to appointments) Provide care, tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their current care plans Supporting residents with recreational and social activities Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date What you will bring Experience within a Support Worker or Personal Care position, with a passion for community care, independent living and wellbeing Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required) Valid drivers license vehicle (required) Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required) Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you) Who we are As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
