This is a hands-on, purpose-driven role where education meets real world impact. As Education Specialist – Road Safety , you’ll play a key role in reviewing, developing and evolving RAC’s school education programs to ensure they are engaging, relevant and aligned with best practice education standards. From content development through to evaluation and partner engagement, this role offers the opportunity to shape meaningful learning experiences for young people across WA. This role is offered on a 12month Maximum Term Contract. What you will be doing : Lead the critical review of RAC’s existing school education resources and programs. Design and develop engaging, accessible education resources for both in-person and online delivery. Coordinate the piloting and evaluation of innovative road safety education initiatives and delivery methods. Monitor and assess education delivery partners to ensure quality, consistency and message alignment. Build and maintain strong relationships with road safety, transport and education organisations. Evaluate and update education resources to maintain relevance and alignment with the WA Curriculum. Contribute to broader RAC education initiatives, including RAC Ignite youth membership, Project Road Smart and bstreetsmart . Collaborate across RAC to deliver education programs that support RAC’s purpose and strategic priorities. What you will bring : Tertiary qualification in Teaching with relevant classroom experience or in a similar education focused role (ideally secondary school ). Demonstrated experience designing and developing secondary school programs aligned to the WA and/or Australian Curriculum. Strong report writing skills and confidence presenting to diverse audiences. Well organised, with the ability to plan, prioritise and align work to organisational goals. Strong collaborator who builds effective partnerships to achieve shared goals. Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA). Current WA Driver’s Licence. Current Working with Children Check. This role will require f lexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for events and activities as well as o ccasional regional travel .
