Family Focused practice Modern, state of the art practice About the position We are currently seeking a part-time Dental Receptionist to join our four-chair practice two days per week, Mondays and Tuesdays, with the opportunity to increase days in the future. We offer a friendly and welcoming environment with ongoing training and support. Our dentists and team are patient-focused and committed to delivering high-quality treatments and exceptional patient-centered care. We are a modern practice offering a wide range of treatments from general check ups to cosmetic treatments. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling. Administrative Support: Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing information about treatments and addressing patient concerns or complaints. Billing and Insurance: Process payments, manage billing inquiries, and assist patients with payment plans and verification. Records Management: Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance within regulations. Office Organisation: Keep the reception area tidy and organised, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and available. Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication between front and back office. Experience as a Dental receptionist - you may have Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting, but most importantly be capable of working closely with a team and a willingness to continue to learn A bright, engaging personality, with enthusiasm and commitment A team player.
