Purpose As a Public Area Supervisor, you are the unsung hero of our Housekeeping Team! On a daily basis, you oversee the achievement of keeping our shared spaces exceptionally clean and focusing on the little things. With your coaching finesse, you will guarantee our team consistently delivers top-tier cleanliness and productivity, while happily engaging and helping guests with any questions or requests they may have. Primary Responsibilities Lead a diverse team to ensure the property always looks its best, inside and out Foster team motivation and growth by providing guidance and training to enhance their skills Maintain high cleanliness and productivity standards, aligning with company guidelines to enhance guest experiences Expertly handle specialised equipment and chemicals with safety in mind Offering help to guests with inquiries and security matters, and collaborating with different departments to accomplish tasks Be the eyes and ears for our maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues promptly, from maintenance problems, to damaged equipment and missing items Skills and Experience A sharp eye for detail and previous leadership experience in Housekeeping Your communication style is warm and welcoming, making both guests and team members feel at ease Adaptability and physical fitness to work in both internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas You enjoy collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds Willingness to not only lead the team but to also work alongside them to ensure their success Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays
