Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Turret Press Operator to join their growing team in Thomastown. An innovative and developing business our client, which is a leading Australian manufacturer of electrical switchboard manufacturing facilities based in Thomastown, This is more than just a job, it's a chance to be part of a company at the forefront of the industry, with opportunities for career advancement and personal growth. This exciting opportunity will start on dayshift 7am-3.06pm, Monday - Friday. We are after a highly motivated Turret Press Operator , to become an integral part of the team. This is a Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. You will play a key role in producing high-quality fabricated components by accurately interpreting technical drawings, following work orders, and maintaining strong safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC Turret Punch machines and other manufacturing equipment Assist other machine operators as required to support production flow Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and manufacturing specifications Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and quality checks Ensure products meet required tolerances and quality standards Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and quality requirements Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Skills & Qualifications: Trade-qualified or experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator Proven experience operating and/or programming CNC Turret Punch machines or similar metalworking equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and flexible across production area Who you are: If you're excited by building something great, we want to hear from you.
