Our client is currently seeking a Junior Customer Service Officer to support their Customer Service team during a period of transition. This is an immediate-start 6 month temporary role , with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Role Reporting to the Customer Service Manager , this role will support both customers and the National Sales Team by delivering timely, accurate, and professional customer service via phone and email. Most customer interactions will be with business customers , with occasional individual customer enquiries. Key Responsibilities Provide end-to-end customer service via phone and email Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries Support the National Sales Team with customer and order-related queries Provide accurate information on products and services Resolve customer issues by clarifying concerns and offering appropriate solutions Enter customer orders accurately and in a timely manner Manage and follow up on back orders Open and maintain customer accounts with accurate information Meet call handling and response time targets (initial response within 20 minutes ) Maintain strong internal and external relationships Key Result Areas Customer satisfaction Call handling times Query resolution Order entry accuracy Quality and continuous improvement About You You are customer-focused, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly, take initiative, and enjoy problem-solving.
