Your New Role – Associate Director, Electrical Building Services As an Associate Director, you’ll work closely with our Building Services Director to set direction, drive technical excellence, and lead project delivery across a diverse portfolio. You’ll shape strategy, mentor high‑performing teams, and represent the business in key client and industry forums. Key responsibilities include: Leading electrical services design and design management for complex, multi‑disciplinary projects. Driving best‑practice technical outcomes that deliver value, efficiency, and innovation. Acting as Project Lead, overseeing delivery and guiding a team of engineers and drafters. Engaging confidently with clients, stakeholders and partners to influence and resolve technical matters. Mentoring and developing emerging engineers, fostering capability across the team. Strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth (desirable). Representing the business within local and regional markets, promoting our technical capability. Contributing to business strategy, planning and performance of the Electrical discipline. About You Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering. Significant experience delivering electrical building services designs for major projects. Strong understanding of interdisciplinary building services coordination (Hydraulics, Fire, ESD, etc.). Proven project delivery experience across Infrastructure, Property & Buildings, Healthcare, Defence and/or Mission Critical facilities—major health project experience highly regarded. Strong knowledge of Australian standards and building codes; WA experience advantageous. Professional engineer registration (or eligibility) for the relevant state jurisdiction. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, lead project teams and meet deadlines. Well‑developed communication skills and experience leading, coaching and empowering junior engineers.
