About the Opportunity Challenge yourself and show off your capabilities as a Hydraulic Technician with a diverse range of projects for national and international oil and gas clients. Day to day you will be based in the Carlisle yard Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30 , assembling and testing some pretty unique and interesting equipment: Wireline and Coiled Tubing Lift Frames. ARTP Back-Up Compensated Tension Lift Frames. Conductor Tensioning Systems. We strive to get you as much offshore time as possible, but without the fixed roster or long stints away – think approximately two weeks away at a time, on an ad hoc basis, with a generous uplift while you are away. Our projects will take you to client sites around Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, and beyond, where you will operate and maintain ICON’s innovative and bespoke rental equipment. About You Trade qualification in a relevant discipline, and 5 years plus industrial experience (offshore experience is a plus!). Flexible to travel to various locations as required – Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia! Sound knowledge of fluid power principles and the ability to read and interpret hydraulic circuits. Proficiency in hydraulic repair, testing, commissioning, and QA procedures. Ability to understand and provide feedback on engineering drawings, operations & maintenance procedures. Additional licenses such as forklift, EWP, dogging/rigging, HUET, and Working at Heights are highly regarded. Not an exact match to all the above but meet most of the points? Apply!
