Our client is seeking a reliable and hands-on individual to join their Ropes Production and Assembly team. This role involves a variety of manual and machine-based tasks to support the manufacturing and assembly of wire rope products used in rockfall barriers and related applications. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO DO SHIFT WORK between the hours of 4am to 12pm Midnight- 15% loading will apply KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and use of TECCO machines Roll removal and packaging QHSE Teamwork KEY TASKS: Set up and use of TECCO machines Attend and contribute as necessary to toolbox meetings. Participate as required in daily pre-start meetings and shift changeovers. Proactively identify risks and hazards in the workplace. Ensure all site rules are obeyed by self and others, e.g., exclusion zones and other safety policies. Ensure correct PPE is always used. Undertake training and development for machine set up and adjustment Be able to operate a minimum of 2 machines at the same time Capable of operating any of the 5 TECCO machines as allocated by line manager Identify and report machine performance issues to Shift Leader/Supervisor Ensure product is packages as per specification Clean machines in line with maintenance schedule Roll removal and packaging Ensure product is packages as per specification Clean machines in line with maintenance schedule Responsible to remove finished rolls to reduce net change stoppages Examine finished goods and perform QA checks SKILLS REQUIRED: Requirements Previous experience in a production or assembly environment (preferred). Forklift licence (essential). Ability to perform manual tasks and operate machinery safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
