We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a male client with complex care needs, with opportunities to take on additional aged care and NDIS shifts. About the Role You will be supporting a 52-year-old male living with an Acquired Brain Injury, Type 2 Diabetes, mobility limitations and speech/memory impairments. The client is non-ambulant, uses a wheelchair, and requires a patient, confident support worker who can work effectively with behavioural and emotional challenges as he transitions back into the community. This role involves working alongside a multidisciplinary team, with supports projected to commence late February . Male support workers are strongly encouraged to apply due to the nature of the care. Duties Include Personal care (showering, grooming, hygiene, mobility support) Meal preparation and safe mealtime assistance Community Access and outings Accurate record-keeping and following care plans Working collaboratively with allied health and clinical teams Providing calm, consistent and professional support What You'll Need Minimum 1 year paid Support Worker experience Cert III or IV in Individual Support (Or Equivalent) NDIS Worker Screening Check National Police Check First Aid & CPR Driver's Licence reliable vehicle Full working rights in Australia Up-to-date vaccinations Why Join Ontime Healthcare?
