Catering Assistant Position: Catering Assistant Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Kangaroo Valley, NSW Role Overview We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Catering Assistant to support daily food service operations. This role is critical to ensuring smooth kitchen operations, consistent service delivery and high standards of food safety and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Assist with food preparation, basic cooking and plating under direction of the Chef. Support service of breakfast, lunch and ancillary meal periods. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, service areas and equipment in line with food safety standards. Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently during and after service. Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and storage in accordance with HACCP requirements. Follow all workplace health, safety and hygiene procedures. Support the kitchen team to ensure service timelines are met. Mandatory Requirements: ✔ Current WWCC (Working With Children Check). ✔ Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain). ✔ Current Australian Driver's Licence & reliable transport. About You: Previous experience in catering, hospitality or food service preferred. Strong work ethic with a proactive, team-focused attitude. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, structured environment. High attention to cleanliness, presentation and detail. Reliable, punctual and professional in appearance and conduct.
