About the role The Maintenance Mechanic provides customers with an exceptional level of service through maintenance/repair of a range of diesel and petrol powered equipment to exacting standards Repair and maintain equipment (primarily petrol/gasoline and diesel engine equipment) to required standards so as to ensure our customers receive reliable and fit for-purpose plant and equipment. Perform servicing maintenance on the customer site as required, and documentation to render equipment serviceable in accordance with Kennards "Ready for Hire" Quality Operational Management (QOM) standards Prepare all required documentation for all servicing and maintenance performed for compliance record keeping About you Trade qualified. This may be as a diesel mechanic, diesel fitter, light vehicle mechanic, small engine mechanic, electrician, or similar trades. At least 3 years' experience in the field A proven ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and work conditions including the ability to both work as part of a team and to work autonomously to complete tasks within required timeframes Time management skills including the ability to plan ahead and reschedule in accordance with changes in priorities Strong communication skills including the ability to follow directions, ask questions to ensure understanding, and proactively provide information to team members The ability to confidently use computers and mobile devices for email, internet and basic transactional processing.
