The Role We are seeking Lab Assistants for one of your prestigious clients based in Wee Waa, NSW. This role is based within the agriculture and seed testing industry, supporting laboratory operations during a high-demand seasonal period. Working in a laboratory and field-support environment, you'll be part of a focused, team-oriented workplace that values accuracy, consistency, and safety. The role suits someone who enjoys detailed work and contributing to quality outcomes in agricultural production. Key Responsibilities The purpose of this role is to support seed testing and sample management activities in line with industry and laboratory standards. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with germination and trait purity testing in accordance with the client's standards and procedures Supporting leaf sampling of post-control and nursery plots Conducting seed sampling in line with ISTA standards and procedures Managing seed samples, including accurate recording, labelling, and storage Maintaining a clean and organised laboratory workspace Following all workplace health and safety requirements Benefits $36.25 per hour for all hours worked Seasonal opportunity running approximately 6 - 7 months High-volume work with approximately 50 hours per week during peak season Valuable experience in agricultural laboratory and seed quality testing Supportive team environment with clear processes and safety focus Your Skills & Experience Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good reading, writing, and basic maths skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Commitment to workplace health and safety regulations Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
