About the role A rare opportunity has arisen for a Senior Medical Imaging Technologist to join our professional & friendly team at SKG Currambine. If you enjoy variety in your working week then this is the role for you! Working across MRI and CT with the expectation to jump into General from time to time also, the successful candidate will have a high skill level across multiple modalities. As a Senior in the team and the go-to person for all matters relating to MRI you will develop close working relationships with our Radiologists, Managers, Referrers and external service providers to ensure we consistently provide a high quality service to our patients. You will be responsible for MRI workflow and the day to day running of the MRI service at Currambine providing training and coaching to the team across all modalities. About You Our ideal candidate will: Hold a degree in Medical Imaging (or equivalent) Be registered with AHPRA – Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia Hold a Radiation Safety Licence from the Radiological Council of WA Possess a high level of CT and MRI skills and experience Hold ASMIRT MRI Level 1 Accreditation Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Display excellent communication, organisational and time management skills Display a Patients First. attitude at all times Please note that the successful candidate is required to provide evidence of vaccination/immunity/screening to a list of vaccine-preventable diseases prior to commencement of employment. This position is Full Time - 75 hours per fortnight Participation in shifts across the week including early & late starts and weekends is expected.
