YMCA Aquatic & Event Services Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Café Supervisor to lead our vibrant café team. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day café operations, ensuring efficient service, exceptional customer experiences, and compliance with food safety and work health and safety standards. Key responsibilities include Leadership Lead, support, and motivate a team of Café Attendants to deliver high performance and outstanding customer service. Supervise staff during shifts, ensuring breaks, tasks, and service standards are met. Foster a positive team culture that aligns with YMCA values of Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility. Operations Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere. Respond promptly to customer needs and resolve any service issues. Handle cash, balance registers, and complete end-of-day reports. Maintain a safe workplace and ensure all WHS and food handling policies are followed. Assist with stock ordering and monitor inventory levels. Ensure café closing procedures and checklists are completed. Coordinate shift coverage when required. Support birthday parties and other functions as needed. Key Relationships You’ll work closely with: Café Manager, Kitchen Coordinator, Cooks, and Café Attendants Function and Birthday Party Staff Duty Managers and other departments You’ll also liaise with members, guests, suppliers, and contractors. Qualifications to be held National Police check upon application.
