This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of maintaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT. Key responsibilities: Prepare designs for zone substation secondary systems including protection, control, communications systems and auxiliary DC and AC supply systems Prepare designs for the construction of major zone substation assets including circuit breakers, power transformers, switchgear, structures and earthing Perform design reviews and approvals in accordance with Evoenergy and industry standards Support project delivery teams during construction Prepare and update design templates, manuals and internal standards Our ideal candidate: You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment You hold an Electrical Engineering Degree Experience in the design of high voltage electrical substations Understanding and knowledge of secondary systems for high voltage protection and control Strong computer skills and experienced with using AutoCAD Proven ability with managing stakeholders About Evoenergy We own, maintain and operate the electricity distribution network in the ACT and the gas network in the ACT and parts of NSW.
