We are currently seeking a suitable qualified and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our project team on a MRWA Road Construction Project. About the Project: Initially this will be a DIDO project located approx. 140 km north of Perth with a 10:4 day roster with camp facilities provided. Essential Criteria Relevant qualification in civil engineering or construction management Minimum 2 years employment experience in civil construction industry (preference to MRWA experience) A valid driver’s licence White Card High level of computer literacy, Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint Excellent safety, work ethics and communication skills Sound knowledge and understanding of MRWA standards and specifications Flexible and understanding of regional work rosters and project requirements Strong ability to work with others: clients, fellow workers, subordinates, and management Must be willing / able to work away at remote sites as well as work locally in the Perth Metro area Ability to complete satisfactory pre-employment medical Responsibilities Assisting Project Manager with project reporting Liaising with Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors onsite Providing site specific engineering expertise Compilation of Quality Assurance documentation (ITP’s and MDR) Undertake visual inspections, arrange testing and reporting Procurement of materials and engagement of subcontractors Communication and management of subcontractors and suppliers Benefits Competitive Full time Salary (paid fortnightly) Good Pipeline of Works Training and Upskilling on the project Employee support from Head office Pre-employment Requirements Complete a pre-employment medical Pass initial and ongoing drug & alcohol screening Police Clearance Comply with Garli’s Drug & Alcohol Policy We strongly encourage those who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to apply for this position.
