Your Opportunity South Sydney – Covering Illawarra, Bowral Regions As a Workplace Trainer, you will ensure care staff are trained, assessed and supported to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll work closely with our Learning & Development, Quality and Service Support teams, Care Teams and Care Practice leadership to deliver training that aligns with Anglicare procedures & Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring every staff member is confident, competent and equipped to provide exceptional care to residents. With professionalism, empathy and a commitment to excellence, you will: D eliver approved training programs and provide coaching, mentoring and hands on suppor t Participate in validation and moderation of assessments Support continuous improvement of training materials and delivery Deliver induction and orientation for new employees Provide in field observation, support and skills coaching Ensure staff maintain mandatory competencies by tracking expiries and coordinating refresher training Maintain accurate , up to date training records Ensure accredited and non accredited training meets compliance requirements Identify risks and escalate potential non compliance issues promptly Promote Anglicare’s values through training and daily interactions Build strong working relationships with Care Teams, Clinical Team and Client Services staff Respond to training feedback, disputes or appeals in a fair and timely manner Support a safe workplace by following WHS procedures and reporting hazards What You’ll Bring You’re an engaging facilitator, a supportive mentor and a confident assessor. You value excellence, compassion and continuous learning — and you bring a genuine desire to invest in the growth of others. You will also have: Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or willingness to obtain Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent) – essential Experience working in aged care Experience with assessment validation in an RTO context (highly desirable) Strong communication , organisation and relationship building skills Ability to adapt to change, support staff and manage training processes with accuracy and professionalism Why Anglicare?
