Introduction Greatness starts here Working as part of the Dental Team, team you will join a team of dedicated team of clinicians and dental support staff, who provide public Dental Services to our diverse clients across the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. As a Dental Assistant you will be responsible for working in close collaboration with our Dentists and Oral Health Therapists providing chair side assistance to ensure that the clinic runs smoothly, the clinician is supported with procedures and provide reassurance and support to the patient. The role also includes the set up and pack up of the clinic each day, supporting colleagues and other members of the dental team as required including the Sterilisation team to ensure that we are providing high quality and efficient patient care for our community. Bring your great, everyday! To be successful in this position, you’ll demonstrate excellent communication skills and be passionate about providing high quality oral health care to your clients. The role requires a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, well developed clinical skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure support a coordinated approach to patient care. Previous experience working within Community Health, Public Health and/or Paediatrics would be an advantage although not required. A Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (Oral Health Promotion or Radiology) will be highly regarded. The fine print This role is a permanent full time position and will be required to work across all DPV Health Dental sites as required Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable), hold a valid WWCC and CPR Certificate Full driver license and travel between sites required.
