Key responsibilities Conduct initial assessments to determine care pathways, risk severity & complexity of needs. Deliver brief interventions to young people (12-25) & families. Provide specialist youth mental health advice including suicide prevention to internal & external stakeholders. Build capacity with families & stakeholders to support individuals at risk through psychoeducation & safety planning. Provide culturally safe, trauma-informed support within the Headspace centre & community settings. Key selection criteria Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Counselling or related. Full registration with relevant membership body (AHPRA, AASW, PCFA, ACA). 2 years demonstrated experience providing services to young people experiencing mental health issues. Demonstrated experience in delivering interventions, conducting assessments & managing crisis situations. Excellent written & verbal communication skills and a client-centred approach to care.
