Harbour View Hotel is looking for a reliable and motivated Cook to join our busy kitchen team. About the Role As a Cook at Harbour View Hotel, you will support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering consistent, high-quality meals. You will work under the guidance of senior chefs and play an important role in day-to-day kitchen operations. Key Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to venue standards Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning and plating Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your work station Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs Ensure food is prepared safely and in line with hygiene standards Assist with stock rotation and proper food storage Reduce food wastage and use ingredients efficiently Support the team during busy service periods Follow all workplace health and safety procedures About You Previous experience as a Cook or in a commercial kitchen preferred Passion for food and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good time management and reliability Team player with a positive attitude Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunities to learn and grow within the business Stable and ongoing work Click “Apply for this job” to register your interest in this fulltime salaried position with a starting salary $76K - $80K (plus super)
