How you’ll make an impact As an Assistant Product Manager, you’ll take an active role in driving the success, innovation, and evolution of our North platform products. You’ll play a hands-on part in keeping our offerings ahead of the game – ensuring they’re not only compliant and competitive, but also genuinely meet the needs of advisers and clients. Product Maintenance and Enhancement Maintain existing product value, implementing changes and enhancements to ensure optimal outcomes for customers and AMP. Lead and support the implementation of regulatory changes and compliance initiatives. Provide subject matter expertise for compliance incident rectification activities. Reporting and Documentation Prepare internal reports for senior management and boards. Execute controls and document policies and processes to ensure a sound operating environment. Maintain up-to-date documentation of product specifications. Assist with compliance and regulatory documentation and controls. Support the delivery of current and compliant product disclosure documents in collaboration with the Disclosure Team. Project and Product Lifecycle Support Contribute to product project implementation, including analysis, impact assessment, and rollout. Support product managers and senior leaders on strategy, development initiatives, management, and projects as required. Assist with product lifecycle activities, including reviews, updates, and documentation. Assist with product reviews and performance monitoring. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Develop support materials and product-related communications for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in gathering and analysing adviser feedback, competitor insights, and market trends. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and track actions for product initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, legal, and technology. Knowledge Management Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform products and superannuation structures What you will bring to the team Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role: At least two years’ of experience in the Australian wealth management market across Product, including platforms, superannuation, retirement, and advice Business related tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry experience Practical understanding of compliance requirements, relevant legislation, and the role of regulators Comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks Analytical thinking and problem solving Proactive – show initiative by anticipating challenges and taking action before issues arise You’ll thrive here if… If you can adapt from BAU to the ambiguous with ease, you’ll do well here.
