This is a hands-on, strategic role suited to someone analytical, commercially sharp, and motivated to build best-practice financial systems in a scaling organisation. You will take ownership of financial reporting, forecasting, commercial governance, project cost accounting and systems. Key Responsibilities Deliver monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and job costing reports Manage budgeting, forecasting, modelling and dashboard reporting Lead cost accounting, pricing reviews, and commercial governance Oversee cash flow, supplier payments, debtor management, WIP and inventory Lead the administration team and oversee the bookkeeper Maintain compliance, controls, systems (including Xero), and year ‑ end processes What You Bring Strong hands ‑ on financial management and cost accounting experience Background in manufacturing, construction, engineering, or project ‑ based industries preferred Advanced financial modelling and forecasting capability Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate numbers into action. Experience leading administration or finance support staff Excellent commercial acumen and communication skills Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (CPA/CA desirable) Who You Are Entrepreneurial, proactive, and hardworking Analytical, comfortable with data, and motivated to build robust financial capability Passionate about continuous improvement, better systems and smarter processes.
