Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Manager - Quantitative Analysis to lead the development and stewardship of Cotality’s retrospective data products, including our market-leading Indices and Market Trends. This role is central to ensuring our products are methodologically rigorous, statistically sound, and trusted by internal and external stakeholders alike. You will combine deep technical expertise with strategic oversight to ensure our models accurately reflect historical property market behaviour while evolving in line with analytical best practice. This role is both hands-on and leadership-focused, requiring you to lead a high-performing team of seven while engaging confidently with senior stakeholders and representing Cotality in high-profile forums. What You Will Be Doing: Lead a team of quantitative analysts responsible for building and maintaining models that reflect historical property market behaviour. Own the delivery and evolution of key retrospective data products, ensuring methodological rigour and robust statistical foundations. Drive continuous improvement in model accuracy, stability, and transparency through version control, benchmarking, and peer review. Collaborate with product and research teams to refine methodologies and validate assumptions for Cotality’s data products. Mentor and develop team members , fostering a culture of analytical excellence, curiosity, and accountability. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives for executives, government bodies, and key industry customers. Champion ethical modelling to ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance with governance standards. Support innovation by enabling rapid prototyping and experimentation within delivery constraints. Job Qualifications: What You Will Bring: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. 7 years of experience in quantitative analysis or data science, including at least 2 years in a team leadership role. Proven expertise in developing and validating statistical models, particularly in property markets or financial domains. Strong proficiency in Python or R , with expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning frameworks, and cloud-based analytics environments. Demonstrated experience delivering high-trust, defensible data products with a focus on methodological integrity. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and external audiences. A natural mentor with experience developing data scientists and fostering a high-performance team culture. Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms and modern version control practices.
