Up to $230k inclusive Own Cloud platforms Proven vendor management experience needed A leading Australian financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Owner (AWS) to join their Technology function in Sydney. This role sits within a fast-paced, enterprise environment where cloud strategy, operational excellence, and vendor governance are critical to business success. The role Playing a pivotal role, you’ll be accountable for the end-to-end ownership of a large-scale AWS cloud platform, with a strong focus on managing an outsourced managed service provider while also driving transformation, optimisation, and innovation. Key responsibilities include: Own and evolve the AWS cloud platform strategy, roadmap, and service catalogue Provide day-to-day oversight of the cloud managed service provider, ensuring SLA performance, delivery quality, and governance Drive continuous improvement across SRE, DevSecOps, automation, and AI adoption Ensure platforms meet security, risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements within a financial services environment Oversee incident, problem, change, and request management across cloud services Act as the voice of the customer to vendors and cloud partners Support platform upgrades, licensing compliance, and operational stability Partner with internal teams to align cloud capabilities with project and business needs Manage cloud financials, budgets, contracts, and vendor invoicing Experience You will bring strong experience across: AWS cloud platforms in large, complex enterprise environments Managing outsourced cloud managed services (delivery, governance, ROI, and vendor performance) Cloud platform operations, transformation, and modernisation Financial services or other highly regulated environments Infrastructure and cloud engineering leadership Risk management, compliance, and governance frameworks Budget ownership, commercial management, and cost optimisation Project and delivery management within platform environments What's on Offer Generous remuneration and benefits Play a key role in the next phase of growth for this well known-financial services brand Proven career growth opportunities Apply to Jonny Jameson via the link below ASAP.
