This role is critical to ensuring that pit and pipe infrastructure is installed in accordance with NBN Co. standards , while meeting safety, quality and regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with construction crews, contractors, Field Supervisors, and project teams to ensure works are delivered on time and to specification across Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Toowoomba . This position suits someone with strong inspection experience in telecommunications infrastructure who enjoys working autonomously in the field, while remaining supported by a collaborative project team. What You’ll Do Inspect NBN pit and pipe infrastructure to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards Identify defects, non‑conformances or safety risks and coordinate corrective actions Complete inspection reporting, photos and approvals using digital systems (including Apian) Support Field Supervisors by providing quality, compliance and constructability input as required Work closely with contractors and project teams to resolve quality issues and support on-time delivery What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and NBN Co. standards Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans and scopes of work High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach Confident communicator able to engage with contractors and internal stakeholders Current Driver’s Licence and familiarity with digital inspection tools (e.g. iPad, Excel, inspection forms) What We Offer Tool of Trade Vehicle Job security with a strong pipeline of work Flexible work arrangements Career development in a team that values skill progression Company paid Salary Continuance Insurance Discounted private Health insurance.
