As Retail Operations Manager – Queensland , you’ll oversee and support our Queensland store network: Fortitude Valley Jindalee Skygate Macgregor Toowoomba Maroochydore You’ll be working closely with Store Managers to drive performance, consistency, and an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and inspire Store Managers to achieve individual and team performance goals. Build capability within your teams by fostering a positive, high-performance culture. Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and ongoing development support. Operational Excellence Ensure all stores operate in line with company standards from visual merchandising to inventory control. Drive store productivity through effective rostering, workflow management, and KPI tracking. Champion continuous improvement opportunities across the retail footprint. Sales & Customer Experience Strategically drive sales performance and profitability across all Queensland stores. Analyse sales results and develop action plans to maximise growth. Lead initiatives that elevate customer experience and strengthen brand loyalty. HR & People Management Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies for retail staff. Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and reward programs. Model and uphold Oz Design’s culture, values and service standards. Sound like the role for you? Here’s what we’re looking for: Proven experience in a multi-site retail leadership or operations management role. A strong commercial mindset with the ability to analyse sales performance and implement improvement plans. A hands-on leadership style with a demonstrated ability to coach, develop and inspire Store Managers. A deep understanding of retail operations, including rostering, inventory control, compliance and visual merchandising. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships across teams. Flexibility to travel regularly across Queensland stores.
