My client is needing an experienced Payroll Officer to manage their payroll. Based in the CBD, this role will see you manage the payroll working 2 days per week, to cover a maternity leave. This role is to start 16 March, until 18th January 2027. On a day to day basis, you will be: Processing a bi-monthly payroll of approx 230 employees Using MicrOpay and ESS End to end position, including new starters, terminations, promotions and reporting line changes Ensure payroll processes comply with all legislative and statutory requirements Ensure payroll documentation records are received, accurate, complete and maintained (saved) as required by statute and policy Provide month end payroll reports to the Finance Manager and other ad hoc reports as requested. Processing monthly sales commissions Ensure PAYG tax is calculated correctly and paid on time. Prepare monthly State Payroll Tax reconciliation and payment calculations and annual reconciliations. Prepare Workers Compensation renewals and policy payments. (Annually around April/July).
