Click on the video below to learn more! The Role The Investment Governance Analyst plays a key role in the delivery of the Investment Governance function. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a wide range of detailed governance activities—from data governance and service provider oversight to due diligence input, questionnaire reviews, monitoring support, and maintaining essential documentation. You’ll be at the heart of our investment governance processes. What you’ll do Support the coordination and scheduling of Investment team policy and process reviews, ensuring cross team contribution, quality control, and completion. Assist in the drafting of new policy, standards and frameworks as required. Support the implementation of data governance frameworks for the investment team, ensuring processes and documentation are appropriate and adhered to. Maintain governance process documentation, including delegations, decision workflows, charters, and terms of reference, policy checklists. Support leadership by advising on the Investment Delegations Framework, ensuring clarity, updates, and consistent application. Support the operational due diligence and risk assessment processes for both investment managers and service providers, ensuring monitoring and remediation plans are in place, tracked, monitored and up to date. Monitor relevant regulatory and prudential changes, providing assessment of impacts and implications for the Investment Team. Complete governance uplifts projects from time to time to improve the depth and efficiency of the Investment Governance function. About you With an exceptional eye for detail and an analytical mindset, you will bring the following key skills: 3 years’ experience in governance, risk management and/or compliance from a financial institution, Big 4 accounting or consulting firm. Experience drafting, reviewing, implementing, and maintaining governance or investment-related policies, procedures, and frameworks. Ability to understand regulatory changes, identify implications for governance processes, and develop appropriate responses. Ability to contribute to governance-related projects and manage multiple deliverables with minimal supervision. Ability to engage stakeholders across the investments team. Strong research and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business or law. The following skills are nice to have but not essential: • Experience in superannuation/institutional investment governance • Experience with service provider or manager oversight • Proficient technology skills (Advanced MS Word, adaptability to new systems) If you’re a self-starter, focused on high performance and member outcomes with a continuous improvement mindset, we would love to hear from you.
