Why this role matters We’re seeking an experienced EH&S Specialist based in Perth, Western Australia , to partner with our operations across Western Australia (WA) and South Australia (SA) . In this permanent role, you’ll report to the EHS Director, Australasia, and work as part of the Australasia EHS Team, embedding best‑practice safety across the region. What you’ll do In this visible, hands‑on role, you will lead by example to foster a proactive safety culture, build engagement, and deliver our corporate EHS programs across WA and SA. Key responsibilities Champion EHS leadership —Influence, coach, and engage leaders and field teams to drive safe, high‑quality outcomes. Implement Otis EHS systems and project EHS plans , ensuring governance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Deliver change, communications, and training that embed EHS standards and behaviours. Identify and reduce risk —Develop targeted interventions to address EHS issues and improve performance. Provide expert safety advice and coaching , ensuring work is completed without risk to health and safety. Participate in toolbox talks, audits, and fatality‑prevention activities , engaging stakeholders and modelling best practice. What you will need to have Bachelor’s degree or Graduate Diploma in OHS (or related discipline). 3-5 years EH&S experience in high‑risk environments (e.g. construction, lifts, facilities management, engineering). Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO 45001. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management capability. A valid driver’s licence and a good driving record. It will be an added advantage if you’ve supported geographically dispersed field teams and are comfortable with intrastate travel across WA and SA.
