Our Young People Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, environmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices. Our Team North Melbourne Campus Our North Melbourne campus opened in 2012 and is our largest face-to-face learning community. Located on the edge of the CBD, it supports a diverse cohort of young people, many of whom are re-engaging with education after complex personal experiences. Description The Role Join Saints College in a teaching role where you’ll inspire, empower and uplift young people at our North Melbourne Campus You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing in 2026, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. Classification for the role is a Teacher T1-1 to T2-6 with a salary range of $79,589 to $118,063 (depending on education and experience). Skills And Experiences You will need Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty Tertiary qualification in Education and equivalent experience Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration Demonstrated high levels of ability in developing and implementing a range of flexible learning choices which meet the diverse characteristics, needs and learning styles of young people disenfranchised from education. Ability to develop engaging onsite curriculum. Knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and/or VCE VM is required.
