Job Description: Pre-Sales Engineer (Elo Product Portfolio: Retail Payment) Job Overview We are seeking a technically proficient and customer-centric Pre-Sales Engineer to provide exclusive pre-sales support for Elo's product portfolio (including retail hardware and payment products) in the Australian market. You will be required to master the technical details of Elo's retail hardware (POS systems, self-service kiosks, etc.) and payment products, build a bridge between technology and customer needs, and closely collaborate with Elo's Singapore team to empower the sales team to win deals. The ideal candidate should possess technical knowledge related to Elo products, be passionate about the technological development of the retail and payment industry and have a proactive and quick-learning mindset to excel in this customer-facing pre-sales role. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales Technical Consultation & Solution Design: Based on Elo's product portfolio (retail payment), collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs (such as retail checkout efficiency, payment scenario adaptation, etc.) and design customized solutions; provide technical insights on Elo product compatibility, integration feasibility, etc. during negotiations; respond to technical inquiries from prospects to remove sales barriers; simultaneously coordinate with Elo's Singapore team to jointly advance cross-regional project requirements. Technical Demonstration & Proof of Concept (PoC): Demonstrate the core performance of hardware products (Android/Wintel AiO devices, touch monitors, etc.) and pain point solutions to customers; design and execute POC tests based on Elo products for key customers and provide reports and recommendations to support purchasing decisions. Technical Documentation & Tender Support: Draft and optimize technical proposals, solution specifications, and Response to Tender (RTT) documents based on Elo's product portfolio; collaborate with the sales, marketing teams, and Singapore team to develop supplementary technical materials, highlighting the technical value of Elo's solutions (retail payment). Technical & Market Capability Enhancement: Keep abreast of the technological trends in Australia's retail and payment industries, and in-depth study the technical details of Elo's product portfolio (retail payment); jointly conduct competitor analysis with the Singapore team to support the differentiated sales strategy of Elo products; synchronously share regional market and technical insights. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Knowledge Empowerment: Provide technical training on Elo's product portfolio for the sales team; collaborate with the regional technical, product teams, and Singapore team to develop technical resources adapted to the local market; support marketing activities and provide technical demonstrations and consultations for Elo products (retail payment). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years of pre-sales experience in retail hardware products (POS systems, self-service kiosks, touch monitors, KDS) in the Australian market. Solid technical expertise, including technical details of retail hardware (Android/Wintel AiO devices, touch monitors, etc.) and payment products; familiarity with touch monitor hardware (capacitive/resistive technology); in-depth understanding of the integration logic between relevant products and POS software, payment systems, and industry workflows. Eligibility to work in Australia (permanent residency or valid work visa). Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear and understandable language for non-technical stakeholders such as sales teams and customer decision-makers. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and proficiency in addressing pre-sales technical challenges.
