The Role Reporting to the Manager Development Assessment and based in Windsor NSW, the purpose of this position is to efficiently and effectively process a wide range of development and associated applications submitted to Council under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, Local Government Act 1993 and related legislation in accordance with Council’s policies and procedures. Essential Criteria Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline Extensive relevant experience in development assessment including complex and/or contentious developments Comprehensive knowledge of the Environment Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Local Government Act 1993 and associated legislation and regulations as they relate to development assessment Proficient using computers and computer applications Class C Drivers Licence WHS General Construction Work in NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) The Rewards An attractive salary will be offered to the successful applicant commensurate with qualification, skills, and experience.
