The Role: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to help lead day-to-day operations, develop high-performing teams, and deliver strong commercial and customer outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role with genuine scope to grow into future senior leadership opportunities. Support the Store Manager in leading, inspiring and developing a large, diverse team of 50 team members across multiple departments Take shared accountability for sales, profit, wages, inventory control and customer experience Lead by example on the shop floor, driving engagement, service standards and operational excellence Coach and develop team leaders and team members to build capability, confidence and future succession Assist in executing strategic plans, store initiatives and operational priorities Step up to lead the store in the Store Manager’s absence, ensuring continuity and consistency Act as a role model for Anaconda’s vision, values and culture Partner with regional and support teams to deliver store and network initiatives About You You are a motivated retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take the next step in your leadership journey. Passionate about outdoor adventure retail and helping customers create memorable outdoor experiences Proven experience leading teams in fast paced environment A confident, energetic leader with a hands-on coaching style Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret KPIs and drive results A collaborative mindset with a desire to learn, improve and grow into a senior leadership role Experience in outdoor categories such as Camping, Hiking, Technical Outerwear, Boating or Marine is preferred but not essential Anaconda Adventure HQ Brendale will build on our success of our first Adventure HQ in Sydney!
