Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced Business Services Manager – Tax & Advisory to join their high-performing team. WHAT THEY OFFER WFH opportunities (2 days in office, 3 days from home) Opportunity to lead, manage and grow a client portfolio Clear and structured path to Partnership Prime CBD location with convenient access to public transport Friendly, collaborative and supportive office culture Flexible work arrangements Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience and working arrangements YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE Managing and mentoring a team of accountants, providing technical guidance and performance development Acting as a primary point of contact for key clients, delivering proactive tax and business advisory services Reviewing and overseeing complex income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and groups Reviewing financial statements, BAS and IAS with a strong focus on compliance and accuracy Providing strategic tax planning and structuring advice to clients Preparing and reviewing management reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow analysis Partnering closely with Directors and Partners on advisory engagements and business improvement projects Overseeing quarterly and year-end compliance obligations across the client portfolio Managing ATO correspondence, reviews and audits as required Identifying opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes and client delivery ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will possess the following key qualifications and skills: 6 years’ experience within public practice, with experience at Manager or Assistant Manager level CA ANZ qualified (or near completion) Strong technical expertise across business services, tax compliance and advisory Proven experience managing staff and client portfolios Proficiency with Xero and/or MYOB Accountants Enterprise Experience working across a broad range of industries Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with Partners and leadership A strong commercial mindset with a genuine focus on client outcomes ACTIONS TO TAKE NOW If you’re looking to join a firm that genuinely values work-life balance while offering clear long-term career progression in a dynamic and professional environment, APPLY NOW — this opportunity won’t be available for long.
