Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of a commercial building in Sydney. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role plays a key part in coordinating maintenance activities, supervising contractors, and ensuring compliance with WHS, quality and operational standards. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and adaptable, with a solid understanding of facilities operations. You will work closely with internal teams, service providers and building occupants to help maintain a safe, efficient and well-managed environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities through the CMMS Allocate and oversee maintenance tasks to ensure service levels and contract KPIs are met Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, contractors and building stakeholders Supervise and support maintenance staff and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and to standard Conduct site inspections and monitor operational performance Ensure compliance with WHS, quality and environmental requirements Assist with after-hours on-call coordination, ensuring appropriate coverage is maintained Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications High School Certificate or equivalent; tertiary qualifications in facilities or building management highly regarded Previous experience in facilities, property or building operations within a commercial environment Sound knowledge of building services and maintenance operations Proficiency in CMMS platforms, Microsoft Office and reporting tools Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks Excellent communication, customer service and stakeholder engagement skills Desirable Trade qualification (electrical or other relevant discipline) Senior First Aid certification Current NSW driver licence Workplace Flexibility This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position based in Sydney. Occasional additional hours and site attendance outside standard business hours may be required to support operational needs.
